Full Swing Installation
Full Swing simulator installation starts with choosing the system: the portable KIT launch monitor, a KIT Studio package, or a fixed Sport Series or Pro Series simulator. Indoor Golf Design (IGD) is an official installer for Full Swing systems: we measure the room, design the enclosure, screen, projector, turf and finishes around the system, then build, install and calibrate it.
Full Swing is a golf simulator brand with a genuine tour pedigree. Tiger Woods is among the players who use it, and its systems run from a portable launch monitor up to fixed commercial-grade simulators.
We believe a golf simulator should be unique and a custom fit for your space and needs. We are an official installer for Full Swing systems, and when Full Swing is the system you want, we design the room around it: the measurements, the hitting position, the screen and projection, the lighting, and the finishes that make it feel like part of your home.
This guide to Full Swing simulator installation covers the range, what each system costs, the space it needs, and how we plan the room.

What Is Full Swing
Full Swing builds both launch monitors and complete simulators. The difference matters for the room.
The Full Swing KIT combines radar and camera tracking in one small unit. It works indoors and outdoors, so it can live in the simulator room and still go to the range.
The Sport Series and Pro Series are installed systems with their own enclosure, screen and tracking, built to be hit hard by a lot of golfers over a lot of years.
Ball speed, launch angle, spin, club speed and carry distance, shown on the screen the moment the ball leaves the face.
The KIT records your swing and pairs the video with each shot, which helps when you are working on one fault with a coach.
The Range
Four tiers cover the range. Two are built around the portable KIT and two are fixed installations you build a room around.
The portable launch monitor at $4,999 and the model most golfers meet first. If you want tour-grade numbers without committing to a room yet, this is where to start.
The KIT paired with a screen enclosure, projector and turf, from $11,500. A complete home simulator with the KIT’s data, and the launch monitor can still move if you later build something bigger.
A fixed, commercial-grade system from $44,900, built for shared use: a club, an office lounge, a venue, or a home golf room that sees heavy traffic.
The flagship, from $54,900, found in tour pro homes and high-end venues. It is the right call when the golf room is the center of a house or a business.

Space Requirements
Space is where most simulator projects succeed or fail, so we measure before we quote. These are the distances our own guides use; the right numbers depend on who is swinging and which system you choose.
| Measurement | What our guides use | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Length (depth) | At least 7 feet from the hitting area to the wall behind you. The ball at least 8 feet from the screen, with 10 to 12 feet preferred. | Radar units such as the KIT read the ball from behind, so they want depth behind the ball as well as in front of it. |
| Width | At least 14 feet if the tee sits in the center of the room. | Whether left- and right-handed golfers can share one hitting position. |
| Ceiling height | At least 9 feet for golfers under 6 feet tall, 10 feet for golfers 6 to 6.5 feet, and about 11 feet for taller players. | Whether a full driver swing clears the ceiling. |

The enclosure frame and projector are anchored to structure, never drywall, with cables run inside the walls and the power the computer and projector need.
Even, soft light so the picture reads with the room lit, and acoustic treatments so the sound of a driver does not carry through the house.
Decide early whether you want to putt in the room. A putting surface changes the turf and floor build. See our golf simulator with putting green guide.

Two Bays
Clubs, offices and larger homes often want a pair of bays rather than one, and the second bay is not simply a copy of the first.
Two bays need acoustic separation, a clear walkway, and seating where people can watch without crossing anyone’s swing.
A shared putting green, a single control position and matching screens let groups compete across both bays. Commercial projects vary based on the number of bays and custom features involved.

Cost
Hardware is only part of the number. These are Full Swing’s starting prices, as of October 2026.
| System | Type | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| Full Swing KIT | Portable launch monitor | $4,999 |
| KIT Studio package | KIT with enclosure, projector and turf | From $11,500 |
| Sport Series | Fixed commercial-grade simulator | From $44,900 |

The gap between the hardware and the finished room is the room itself: framing, insulation, acoustic treatment, lighting, millwork, seating and finishes. That work turns equipment into a space you want to spend evenings in. IGD custom golf simulators range from $50,000 to $100,000+ for luxury, and our prices include plans and room layouts.
We sell and install Full Swing alongside TrackMan, Uneekor, Foresight Sports, FlightScope, TruGolf and more, so we can tell you honestly when another system fits your game and room just as well. Compare Uneekor installation and TrackMan costs.
Tour Pedigree
Full Swing’s reputation comes from the players who use it.
Tiger Woods is publicly associated with Full Swing and uses it at home. When a player of that caliber trusts a system’s numbers, that says something about the data.
The Pro Series is the system found in tour pro homes, which is why it suits a golfer who wants the same tool for serious practice.
Beyond practice, the course library lets you play a full round alone, set up a game with friends, or watch a group take turns.
